Rach's Story

A few years ago I worked part time in a resturaunt. Everyone was really friendly but there was one guy who I became completely smitten with. He was funny, he was charming, and rediculously attractive. One night after work we went to a club. We were standing at the bar when he leaned in and kissed me. It was the most amazing kiss ever, I just melted. A few nights later I was in a bar with my mates and I saw him. A smile spread across my face. As I went over to say hi, much to my shock and disapointment, another girl was on his arm! I later found out that she was his girlfriend of 6 months.

Totally crushed I tried to forget about him, but it was no use, I'd totally fallen for him. Although it hurt I settled for the 'just friends' thing in hope that he would leave his girlfriend.

I had all but given up until one day he appeared at my doorstep and grabed me and kissed me. When I pulled away he looked deep into my eyes and told me that he loved me and that he couldn't live without me. He said he went to bed dreaming of me, and wakes up looking for me, but only to find a girl he barely knows, despite being with her for a year. I was shocked, my heart was racing, and I could feel the tears stinging my eyes.

That was three years ago and we are now engaged. A few weeks ago he came running home from work after listening to the radio and hearing this song. he looked at me and said, "this is us!"

I love him more than anyone could love another person. Now, everytime I hear this I think of three years ago and how lucky I am to have him.
